Mukthi is a student focused free and open source software event. It is an event by the students facilitated by vrlinug@msrit, the official linux users' group of M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology. This pioneering event has led to other users' groups following us and organizing similar events at their campuses. The goal of this event is to inspire and support innovation, advocate the use of free and open source software and encourage contributions to the community in all forms. Mukthi targets students, in technical streams and otherwise. Working professionals are also welcome to attend. The previous event was called " Mukthi 7.04 " .
